Donato Diorio is a pioneer in the field of Internet research. As software architect and the owner of a top billing placement firm, Donato envisioned applications that could automate many of the most time-consuming research functions performed by his recruiters. With the assistance of a team of developers, Donato created a series of innovative tools that immediately impacted revenue for his firm. It didn’t take long to realize the potential of these applications beyond the scope of internal use, and in 2001, Broadlook Technologies was born. Today, Broadlook serves 1000’s of clients worldwide including Fortune 100 companies; with applications to aid in staffing, sales, and overall business intelligence initiatives. Donato’s in depth knowledge and charismatic personality, combined with his high level of enthusiasm, make him a highly sought-after speaker, thought leader, and educator on best practices in sales and recruitment. Focusing on managing technology and human interaction, Donato’s presentations have been well received by numerous organizations worldwide. Dan Hughes, Co-Founder / CSO

Dan is a 20+ year veteran of sales, marketing, software and internet solutions entrepreneurship that spans from Corporate giant Hewlett Packard to small software solutions providers. In 1998 he founded his first company which pioneered online virtual tours and immersive user controlled content for the travel, real-estate, sports, destinations and entertainment markets. Selling his company’s content in 2000 to a Private Equity firm, Dan became a sought after consultant to advise, architect and implement best of sales strategies for start-up software, e-learning, Internet and professional services offerings for Nike, University of Phoenix online, and GE aviation. In late 2002, joined Donato and Igor to launch Broadlook Technologies. As the architect of the highly regarded “Sphere of Influence” (SOI) selling methodology, Dan consults with hundreds of companies each year on how to most effectively research and engage prospects for any sales initiative or e-marketing campaign. Under his guidance and successful implementation of SOI, numerous sales operations have dramatically improved their ability to connect with prospects on their initial engagement, grow from a phone call quantity to phone quality focus, and reach aggressive revenue growth targets while improving individual contributor productivity. A voracious traveler, Dan has lived and visited just about every state throughout the United States, along with Australia, South & Central America, Thailand and the Orients and South Africa. This along with a successful collegiate athletic career, a passion for recreational sporting activities, jazz and Latin music makes for an entertaining if not informative conversation. However, keep an ear out for the infamous “Danisms”; the oft humorous, insightful analogies, parallels and quips that sounds about right…but really only make sense to Dan or a next of kin from Tennessee.

Igor Petrenko, Co-Founder / Development Mastermind

Igor was the first employee of Broadlook Technologies and has been with the company on a consulting basis since 2000 and full time since 2002. His role consists of application architecture and development, internal datacenter administration, reality check, and many other things. He is very awesome in all ways possible.

Mike Carow , Advisor

Mike joined the Broadlook team in March of 2008 as an Advisor. He also became a member of Broadlook’s Board of Directors in May of 2008. Mike brings over 20 years of experience in the Software and Technology Industry. In addition to working in an Advisory role, he is President of Optio, a business strategy consultancy. Optio’s mission is to help its clients “erase the lines” and gain a strategic advantage in today’s global market place. Prior to Optio, Mike held senior management positions that span from responsibilities in business development, sales, relationship management, consulting, customer service and operations. His experience includes key roles at companies such as Metavante, eFunds, NuEdge Systems and PKWARE.

April Broom, Office Manager

April joined the Broadlook team in December 2008. Previously, she attended the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee where she received her bachelor’s degree. Her exceptional customer service and organizational skills are fully utilized in her role as the Office Manager. Her responsibilities consist of a multitude of tasks including ordering, scheduling, tradeshow planning, and some accounting. When away from the office she enjoys spending her free time with her husband, family, and friends.

Cory Dickenson, Software Support Specialist

Cory joined Broadlook in October 2009 as a Software Support Specialist. His main roles include technical support, product testing, and teaching a few online trainings. A recent graduate from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh in M.I.S., Cory is eager to jumpstart his career at Broadlook. He enjoys learning about new gadgets(he would be lost without his iPhone), spending time with friends and family, and attending Brewers games whenever he can.

Alex Kazanskiy, Developer

Alex joined Broadlook Technologies in August of 2008 as a Developer. In a short amount of time he took care of multiple internal applications and several of Broadlook's products - thanks to his experience with various technologies. What started once as a hobby at age of 12 since became his job and he doesn’t regret it. He likes to travel and to spend time with his family.

Casey Kerr, Developer

Casey joined Broadlook in June of 2009 as a mobile application developer. Redesigning our applications to the standards of the iPhone, Blackberry and other mobile platforms is his specialty. Casey has been moonlighting as a video game developer since 1996, however, still enjoys the challenges of developing for multiple target platforms.

Kalin Konop, Account Manager

Kalin joined Broadlook in early 2010, bringing with her sales experience in the recruiting industry. With her understanding of the pains that both recruiters and sale professionals face navigating the web for leads, Kalin enjoys bringing Broadlook’s solutions to her clients. Outside of work, Kalin is a devoted sports fan and likes getting creative in the kitchen.

Jenny Locke, Sales Operations Coordinator

Jenny joined Broadlook Technologies in June, 2009 as a Sales Operations Coordinator. A graduate of Carroll College, Jenny received a bachelor’s degree in Communication. Her background in IT sales and marketing and dedication has made her an asset to the Broadlook sales team. She enjoys fitness and water sports and has a passion for traveling.

Ross Hoppenjan, Sales Consultant

Ross joined Broadlook with a background in Executive Search. He enjoys helping address the pain points that recruiters face on a daily basis as he has “been there done that.” He also likes to work with and around others that share in his positive attitude and thrives for success. Ross graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee with a bachelor in Marketing and Human Resources. He enjoys architecture, travel, music and is an avid sports enthusiast. You name it and he’s probably dabbled in it.

La Lon Moore, Sales Consultant

La Lon Moore was born in East St. Louis, Illinois. A graduate of University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, he serves as a Client Care Manager for Broadlook. His responsibilities include minor tech support calls, tools usage consultation, and making sure that each client becomes successful with the tools. He is also a firm believer that all things are possible.

Kevin Schuetz, Senior Software Engineer

Kevin joined Broadlook in early 2003 as a developer. He started programming in 1986 on his first computer, a Commodore 64. Having lived in Wisconsin for most of his life, he is one of the few who actually welcomes the subzero temperatures and snowstorms rather than plotting to escape them. In addition to video games (of course), he enjoys dark ambient music, driving, nature, and carbonated beverages. His favorite book since childhood is the Rand McNally Road Atlas.

James Siegel, Sales Director

James joined Broadlook in early 2009, bringing with him nearly 12 years of hardware and software account development experience at both the enterprise and transactional level. Outside of work James is passionate about anything related to fitness and personal development, and has been flipping residential real estate for 8 years.

Andy Stanczyk, Sales Director

As a Broadlook Sales Consultant, Andy has one main goal: To treat customers with respect and dignity while providing a first class purchase experience. After spending 5 years in Western Wisconsin, Andy moved back to his hometown in Southeastern Wisconsin and joined the Broadlook team in October 2007. In an attempt to expand his musical horizons, Andy listens to five new albums each week and is open to your suggestions. When asked to elaborate on his life outside of work, Andy simply replied, "Go Brewers."

Mike Tischer, Dean of Broadlook University

Mike Tischer is the Director of Client Experience. He has been with Broadlook as part of the sales team for over 4 years. Mike brings the experience of working with our clients and understanding their business needs. In his new role, he has transformed Broadlook’s on-boarding experience. First and foremost, the new process is focused on your business goals. With that foundation, Mike then systematically takes you through a process that will equip you to achieve your objectives. Mike became the Director of Client Experience in late February 2009, and the client feedback has been outstanding. Kary Valley, Data Czar

Kary has been with Broadlook since November of 2006. His role consists of back office technical duties including the CRM, phones, technical support, product testing, and data acquisition. He is a superstar. Occasionally Kary will perform in a data services role, offering his expertise to Broadlook clients. Outside of work, Kary enjoys computer games and Packer Football with his wife.

John White , Director of Operations

John joined Broadlook in early 2005, as a Support Engineer, after graduating from UW-Whitewater. During his time at Broadlook, John has continued to excel at various roles and is currently wearing the title of Director of Training. You would have probably talked to John at some point if you have called into Broadlook as he often takes support calls, training questions, or even advanced demo requests. When not at Broadlook, he spends the majority of his time working on his new house, or watching movies with his beautiful wife.
